Ingrid DeDecker

Ingrid holds an undergraduate degree in Secondary Education and an MBA. Her professional career has spanned from classroom teaching to international business consulting with the State of Ohio. She was recognized as an Honored Professional in the 1996–1997 edition of the National Directory of Who’s Who in Executives and Professionals.



Ingrid is the author of the bestselling book Bring the Light to School: How You Can Empower Christian Students and Bring Hope to K–12, which has reached more than 10,000 readers nationwide and encourages communities to support and empower Christian students in public schools.

Today, Ingrid focuses her efforts on elementary schools, where she helps establish Fellowship of Christian Athletes lunch huddles that are open to all students and centered on faith and character rather than athletics. She works alongside school principals, parents, and pastors to launch programs that give young students early opportunities to grow in faith, develop strong character, and experience positive community.
